The Debt of the Dead

There are no difficult ways to get into debt. And there are no easy ways to get out of debt. Quiet unfortunately. Debt has always been something that is looming large in the background, egging us to marry it. The prudent have kept debt at bay. The erotically erroneous have fallen to the temptation of temptress -debt.

There are so many avenues on the anvil. Spending has become so easy. Wish earning money was this easier as spending it. It is true that life is full of choices. The decision to choose wisely is becoming more difficult with each passing day.

Consumerism will only increase in the coming days. What was not needed before will become an absolute necessity. Take the example of a touch-screen mobile phone. ”Everybody has it, so should I have one”. This sentiment is an echo of the times. People do not engage in need-based behavior. They engage in some other kind of behavior. What is it?

Need-based buying has been replaced long ago. From the time need-based buying had been replaced, people started to falling in debts. Debt is a reflection of how people have become victims of over-leveraging. They are dazed with the plenitude of buying opportunities. They want to buy everything. Buy land. Houses. Cars. Designer watches.

For a fact, we live in a world that survives on perceptions at every stage. Everyone is caught in building perceptions about themselves. Often, their accessories announce what they want people to think about themselves. If life is full of choices, it is full of wise choices as well. Choose wisely. Keep the temptress away.
